Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) with support of JICA and Sumitomo Corporation is developing a Japanese Economic Zone (referred to as Bangladesh Special Economic Zone-BSEZ, initially named as Araihazar Economic Zone-AEZ) under Araihazar upazila and Narayanganj district which is adjacent to the Dhaka-Sylhet highway. The total land of BSEZ is approximately 218.84 ha or 540.77 acres for the first phase (Phase-I).
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff:
- Collect Mouza Maps, Khatians etc from concern offices.
- Socio-economic impacts, household survey, census survey
- Household Marking
- Conduct Video filming
- Arrange Consultation Meetings
- Conduct census, inventory of lost assets and support to JVC and PVAC
- Focus Group Discussion.
- Preparation of RAP, Social impact assessment (SIA) & , Social management plan(SMP)
