Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

The DESWSP will provide a major new potable water supply from the Magna River to Dhaka, with a 500MLD water treatment plant (WTP) and over100km of pipelines within Dhaka. DESWSP also includes distribution pipe network improvements (DNI) in Dhaka. The project will also focus on the main component being the new potable water supply from Magna to Dhaka with its WTP and large pipelines.

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff:

• Inventory survey of affected persons, households and communities
• Socio-economic impacts, household survey, census survey
• Arrange Consultation Meetings, GRC Meetings
• Implementation of the RAP
• Assist the PMU & provide data and information that PMU will require.
