Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

Feasibility study for improvement of Ghagot, Bangshi, Banar Lower, Nagda, Zinai and Gomoti for restoration of dry season flow, navigability improvement, and flood erosion management is being executed by Bangladesh Water Development Board. Here Knowledge Management Consultants (KMC) is engaged by Institute of water Modeling (IWM) - the lead consultant) for socioeconomic assessment, FGD, KII for preparation of social Impact Assessment Report.

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff:

Ø To Visit project sites in the time of compensation payment, resettlement and social programs

Ø Review and verify progress in resettlement plan implementation and prepare a semiannual report

Ø Assess the effectiveness and results achieved by the livelihood restoration programs with the affected people.
