Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

The government of Bangladesh has initiated a project Pro-Poor Slum Integration Project (PPSIP) aimed at improving housing and security of tenure of poor urban communities across the country. This will be a demonstration program implemented by the National Housing Authority (NHA) with the financial support from the World Bank. Under this project, KMC Ltd. was employed to prepare Social Assessment and Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF).

Description of Actual Services Provided by your Staff:

- Developed survey tools

- Conducted socioeconomic survey using at slums of Comilla, Narayanganj, Sirajganj, Barisal and Dinajpur cities

- Conduct consultation meetings with stakeholders

- conducted socioeconomic survey using, structured questionnaire and visiting house to house,
