Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

The project is undertaken by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Ltd for Enhancement and Strengthening of Power Transmission Network In Eastern Region at Laksam and Muradnagar which is being executed by Power Cell. Here Knowledge Management Consultants (KMC) Ltd is engaged by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Ltd for Update of Resettlement Action Plan (RAP).

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff:

Ø Identification of the proposed location/site for changed substations (at Laksham and Muradnagar)

Ø Stakeholder Consultation Meetings

Ø Conducting Census and Inventory of losses of the affected land owners, lessees and sharecroppers

Ø Conducting property valuation survey to access the replacement for land and other affected properties

Ø Video filming of the proposed sites

Ø Data entry and table generations

Ø Updating of the total database of 13 Substations based on resurvey in changed two substations

Ø Preparation of Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) as per the World Bank OP 4.12
